This supremely upmarket residential space was designed with basement parking for 10 vehicles, with the entire structure supported on the basement transfer slab. Due to poor soil conditions, the main supporting columns were founded on piles. The high water table required an intricate design of subsoil drains and robust waterproofing to prevent the ingress of damp and moisture into the basement, which is also the location of the extensive home entertainment theatre.
